What is NPORS?

The National Plant Operators Registration Scheme (NPORS) is now one of the UK’s leading Accreditation and Registration Bodies, working across the Construction, Industrial, Utilities, Warehousing and Distribution, Agricultural, Ports and Marine sectors. NPORS is widely recognised by the majority involved in plant operations and aims to provide evidence of the skills and abilities of plant operators. Many companies who take the opportunity to give their staff construction training have greatly benefited from it.

As an NPORS Accredited Training Provider (ATP) we at KH Plant Training LTD offer professional training and testing conducted by qualified and experienced instructors who between them have decades of experience. This can be undertaken at training facilities we use or we can deliver training and/or testing to you and your employees at your workplace if the necessary machinery is available.

                 NPORS Courses we offer:

    • Novice Courses
    • Experienced Operator Training
    • Theory Training
    • Test Only

NPORS Offer two operational routes

Traditional Route: Upon successful completion candidates are issued with an NPORS operator registration card and/or certification to confirm their professional skills and competence which is valid for 3 years.

CSCS Route: Upon successful completion candidates are issued with a red trained operator card valid for 2 years in which time an NVQ for the relevant plant category must be completed. A blue competent operators card is then issued which is valid for 5 years. Candidates need to have passed the CSCS HSE Operatives touch screen test within the last 2 years.
