The aim of the reach truck training course is to provide candidates with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills to equip them to safely operate a reach truck.
Validated by the RTITB (National Plant Operators Registration Scheme) the course involves a combination of classroom based learning and practical exercises and is suitable for experienced candidates requiring a refresher and bringing up to date with current legislation as well as novice operatives.

Upon successful completion of the course candidates will have gained practical skills and knowledge about:
The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and its implications
An employee’s legal duties and responsibilities
Pre-start, running checks and shut down procedures, mount and dismount
Operator’s responsibilities, with regards to daily/weekly checks of machine
The role of operators instructions, policies and procedures
