As a business KH Plant Training understand the sacrifices, dedication and commitment to our great nation that our servicemen and women demonstrate.
We want to continually support those
who have made such commitments to our nation and its peoples wherever we are able.
In 2023 we aim, by carrying out 4 physical challenges, to provide both financial support through donations and raising awareness for the MCVC and Help 4 Homeless Veterans and the great works they do. With your help we will be able to help many of those in need.
Statement from Steve Bentham-Bates
HELP 4 HOMELESS VETERANS is a double Royal Award-winning charity that for the past 12 years has provided rapid support to vulnerable veterans who are homeless or about to become so. We pay for their initial rents, bonds, emergency B & B and provide essential household items such as beds and cookers to support veterans rebuilding their lives. We rely on individual and corporate donations to fund our work. Since being formed we have helped around 800 veterans turn their lives around and on, some occasions have saved lives when a veteran couldn’t see a way ahead until we stepped in to help them.
Statement from Christine Bradley
The MCVC is a Rotherham based charity providing comradeship and a signposting service to expert support providers for ex-service personnel and their dependants in the local area. The charity has been in existence since 2010 and in 2020 was honoured to be awarded the Queens Award for Voluntary Service in her Platinum Jubilee year.
Both these charities do fantastic work in supporting those of our community through very difficult times in their lives either after service or during their transition into civilian life and we really want to help.
